Privacy Policy

This website, niche-usa.com, and the NICHE Decants app for iPhone ("NICHE", "we", "us") are operated by Alaniya LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, use the app or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. The app shows the same store as the website, and everything below applies to both.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you place an order we ask for your name, email address, phone number (optional), shipping address and state, and any notes you add. We use this information to pour, pack and ship your order, to send you an order confirmation and tracking number, and to answer your questions.

Payment information

Payments are processed by PayPal, Inc. Your card number and payment credentials are entered directly into PayPal's secure checkout; we never receive or store them. PayPal's handling of your data is governed by the PayPal Privacy Statement. We receive from PayPal only the information needed to fulfil the order: your name, email address, payment status and transaction ID.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider (Netlify, Inc.) keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — for security and to keep the site running. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.

Notifications and rewards points

If you ask us to notify you when a fragrance is back in stock or when new fragrances arrive, we store what is needed to reach you: your browser's push subscription, the notification token of the NICHE Decants app on your device, or your email address, together with the alerts you chose. We use it only to send the alerts you asked for. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device or browser settings, or email us to be removed. Rewards points are kept against the email address you order with, stored in a scrambled (hashed) form.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage only to remember the contents of your cart and your language preference (English or Russian). These are not shared with anyone. Our payment provider, PayPal, may set its own cookies when the payment buttons load; see PayPal's policy above.

How we use your information

• To process and deliver your order and to communicate with you about it.
• To handle damaged or incorrect shipments, refunds and questions.
• To keep records required by tax and accounting law.
• To prevent fraud and protect the site.

We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly ask to receive them, and we do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the store: PayPal (payment processing), Netlify (hosting and secure storage of order records), the United States Postal Service and other carriers (delivery), our email provider (order confirmations), and Apple and your browser's push service (delivery of the notifications you asked for). Each receives only the information required for its task. We may also disclose information when required by law.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle returns and meet legal record-keeping obligations (generally up to 7 years for accounting purposes), after which they are deleted.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (unless we must keep it by law). California residents have the additional rights described in the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what information is collected and the right to deletion; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email alaniya.llc@gmail.com. We will respond within 45 days and will not treat you differently for making a request.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Order records are stored in our hosting provider's access-controlled dashboard. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.

Хостинг-провайдер (Netlify, Inc.) ведёт стандартные серверные логи — IP-адрес, тип браузера, запрошенные страницы и время — для безопасности и стабильной работы сайта. Рекламных трекеров и сторонней аналитики на сайте нет.

Уведомления и баллы

Если вы просите сообщить о поступлении аромата или о новинках, мы сохраняем то, что нужно для отправки: push-подписку вашего браузера, токен уведомлений приложения NICHE Decants на вашем устройстве или адрес email, а также выбранные вами темы. Эти данные используются только для уведомлений, о которых вы просили. Отключить уведомления можно в любой момент в настройках устройства или браузера либо написав нам. Баллы хранятся по адресу email, с которого сделан заказ, в зашифрованном (хэшированном) виде.

Cookies и локальное хранилище

Локальное хранилище браузера используется только для корзины и выбранного языка (EN/RU). Эти данные никому не передаются. PayPal может устанавливать собственные cookies при загрузке кнопок оплаты — см. политику PayPal выше.

Как мы используем данные

• Для обработки и доставки заказа и связи с вами по нему.
• Для решения вопросов с повреждёнными или ошибочными отправлениями, возвратами и обращениями.

Мы не рассылаем рекламные письма без вашей явной просьбы и не продаём и не передаём ваши данные третьим лицам в коммерческих целях.

Кому передаём

Только сервисам, без которых магазин не работает: PayPal (платежи), Netlify (хостинг и защищённое хранение записей о заказах), USPS и другие перевозчики (доставка), почтовый сервис (письма-подтверждения), а также Apple и push-сервис вашего браузера (доставка уведомлений, о которых вы просили). Каждый получает только то, что нужно для его задачи. Также данные могут быть раскрыты по требованию закона.

Сколько храним

Записи о заказах хранятся столько, сколько нужно для выполнения заказа, обработки возвратов и соблюдения требований к учёту (как правило, до 7 лет), после чего удаляются.

Ваши права

Вы можете в любой момент запросить, какие данные о вас мы храним, исправить их или удалить (если закон не обязывает нас их хранить). Безопасность

Сайт работает по HTTPS. Записи о заказах хранятся в панели хостинг-провайдера с ограниченным доступом. Абсолютной защиты не существует, но мы принимаем разумные меры для сохранности ваших данных.

Сайт предназначен для совершеннолетних. Мы сознательно не собираем данные лиц младше 18 лет.
